On Wednesday, December 18, 2013, after much hustle and bustle, last minute shopping, minute planning, arranging and re-arranging to perfection, the residents of Signature Healthcare of Spencer County had a visit from the Good Ole Jolly St. Nick himself (well, David Brown, Administrator). What a wonderful sight it was indeed! Santa and all his little elves had never seen so many presents! Bags and bags; approximately 120 to be exact! There were many smiles as Santa handed out their gifts. Everyone got everything they wanted on their lists and more! Though it couldn’t get any better, there was lots and lots of food! All the residents ate until their stomachs were like bowls full of jelly. The residents presented the staff with a Thank You note for a wonderful Holiday Dinner.
As Santa and his elves sled off, everyone sighed and waved goodbye until next year, and all drifted off to sleep in hopes of a long winter’s nap.
