On September 6, 2014 several of our residents, stakeholders and their children went to the RiverWalkPark in downtown Louisville for the annual Alzheimer’s Walk. It was a beautiful day to show our support for such a worthy cause and one that affects so many of our residents.
With our custom t-shirts “we walk together” and memory flowers we enjoyed the ceremony and then lead the way around the park. The water, boats and breeze was a great inspiration as we were joined by several other hundred people.
We ended our trip with a visit to the local Dairy Queen! Where we had some sweet, tasty treats. Thanks to all who came out to support the WALK to end Alzheimer’s.
It was truly a day to celebrate, a day to remember, and a day to spend time together.
