Our Resident s’ of Signature Healthcare of Spencer County had an elegant evening of celebration aboard the Spirit of Peoria. This was a special dinner cruise that marked the 100th anniversary of the Belle of Louisville. The wonderful staff of the Peoria presented a wonderful dinner buffet to their very special guests. Entertainment was provided by an onboard band that played many familiar tunes which kept spirits high.
The Peoria then set sail for an evening tour down the Ohio with several other steam boats lead by the Belle herself. We ended the wonderful evening with a visit on the bow, to watch the night skyline of Louisville light as we passed by and fireworks to mark this wonderful occasion.
We are so glad to have been able to share this special occasion with our residents and would like to thank the Spirit of Peoria for making it such a wonderful night.
