The Apprentice challenge was given: Create a virtual vacation for our residents. We ask them and they told us we were going to Disney World!
Both teams joined together and brought Mickey and all his friends to meet our residents. Our Emcee was our own Administrator, Pinocchio, who introduce the characters in costume as they came through Cinderella’s Castle door.
We had a parade with floats and in the dining room we served hotdogs, chips and all the fun food they could handle. The Disney cupcake tower made the rounds and delivered festive sweets that were too good to resist.
The ultimate entertainment came when both teams were challenged with a dance routine! It ended with a Conga line working their way through the group! It was so much fun and the staff and resident’s loved it! Stay in touch for more fun from the Apprentice Challenge. An update will be posted soon!
