Signature Spencer Visitation Policy

Signature Spencer is currently allowing scheduled visitation for all patients based on the following criteria. This information is current as of 4/22/2021 but is subject to change. Visitation is scheduled in half-hour sessions Sunday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, last visit beginning at 4:30 PM. The visits themselves are approximately 20 minutes with time afterwards to return the patient to their room and thoroughly sanitize the visitation areas.

Residents who have been COVID-19 positive within the last 90 days or who have been fully vaccinated with their last vaccine dose being at least 14 days prior are allowed to begin scheduled visitation immediately upon admission. These visitations may contain touch, including hand holding and hugging. Masks must be worn at all times during visitation.

Residents who have not been vaccinated or who have only received 1 dose of a 2-dose vaccine are considered to be unvaccinated and must isolate once they admit to the facility for 14 days prior to being able to schedule visitation. After the 14 day isolation period, you may schedule visitation, but these visitations will not contain touch, which includes hand holding and hugging. Masks must be worn at all times during visitation. During the 14 day isolation period, window visitation is still allowed and encouraged. If a patient leaves the facility for any reason, such as a return to hospital or MD appointment, the 14-day isolation period restarts.

Residents who have been fully vaccinated but less than 14 days since the last dose: must admit to isolation precautions but must only isolate the remaining days of their 14-day vaccine period. For example, if you received your last vaccine dose 10 days ago, you would only be required to isolate for the remaining 4 days before scheduling visitation.
